Who can apply
Canadian registered charities, non-profits, schools and school/parent organizations, daycares, and Indigenous organizations serving children and youth 21 and under. Grants to elementary and high schools, parent/school associations, daycares, sports teams and recreational facilities (pools, ice rinks, skate parks) are capped at $5,000. Financial documentation scales with request size: up to $5,000 requires a financial statement/plan for the current year; $5,001–$15,000 at minimum a Notice to Reader or Compilation Engagement; $15,001–$25,000 at minimum a Review Engagement Report; Signature Grants require a current audited financial statement. Recent Signature Grant recipients are barred from applying in the following granting cycles.
