Would a funder say yes to your proposal?
Paste your draft. In about 30 seconds you'll get a funder's-eye score, two things you're doing right, and the three fixes that matter most — from the same AI that writes winning proposals on GrantOrb.
How does the grant proposal grader work?
Paste your draft (300+ characters) and GrantOrb's AI reads it the way a funder's program officer would: urgency of the problem, quality of the idea, team credibility, evidence, and readability. You get a 0–100 score, two genuine strengths, and the three highest-impact fixes in priority order. It takes about 30 seconds.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Really free, no signup, no credit card — up to 5 grades a day. The 'catch' is honest: we built GrantOrb, an AI platform that finds verified grants and writes complete proposals, and we think once you see the quality of the feedback you'll want the tool that applies the fixes. That part is free to start too.
Is my proposal stored or shared?
No. Your text is sent to the AI for grading and is not saved — we keep only an anonymous fingerprint (a hash), the length, and the score for rate-limiting and quality monitoring.
What score do I need before submitting?
85+ means submission-ready with minor polish. 70–84 means the core is solid with one or two real gaps — fix those first. Most honest first drafts land between 55 and 75, so don't be discouraged: three targeted fixes usually move a draft 15+ points.
